VERBUND’s main goals are long-term supply security, affordability, and diversification of green hydrogen in order to secure industrial locations and drive the climate transition. Therefore, we are initial supporter of the SouthH2 Corridor.
OMV welcomes the SoutH2 Corridor as a logistic option for Austria. OMV invests in green hydrogen projects, e.g. electrolysis plant in the OMV Schwechat Refinery. Green hydrogen could also be used for OMV´s production of sustainable aviation fuels.
